Rice as a skin care ingredient will help smooth a rough texture, minimize pores, and encourage a brighter complexion
In today’s post, I’ll share brightening Rice Facial.
1st Step: Cleanser
Rice milk cleanser recipe
To make this cleanser you’ll need:
1/2 cup rice flour
2-3 tablespoons organic rice milk
Making White Rice Milk
2 cups of water
1/2 cup of cooked white rice
Measure the rice and water into a blender.
Blend the ingredients for 1 minute.
Turn the blender onto the highest setting and wait 1 minute for it to blend the rice and water into a smooth liquid.
If the liquid is still a little lumpy after 1 minute, blend it for another minute or until it is smooth.

now in a bowl
Mix the flour and milk together to form a paste.
Apply gently onto skin, avoiding the eye area, then rinse with warm water.
As we age, we lose moisture in our skin and should replace our gel cleansers with gentle creamy and milk-based cleansers.
Rice flour has anti-inflammatory benefits that help treat sensitive skin, while the rice milk provides vitamin A and calcium.
The grains do not dissolve easily in liquid, and help exfoliate your skin.
2nd Step: Exfoliation
Rice powder is a bit coarse in its texture which makes it an excellent material to be used as a scrub.
The fine particles help the flaky dead skin cells leave your skin in an easier way. Rice absorbs all the sebum and leaves your skin clean, smooth and re-energised.
To make you’ll need:
Take semi-fine rice powder, chocolate powder, and honey in a bowl.
Combine all the ingredients well to get a consistency like a body scrub.
Scrub this mixture over your face or your entire body and then rinse with cool water.
Don’t over exfoliate with rice and use it gently while massaging.
Chocolate is packed with superpowers: it’s pro at breaking down free radicals and works as an anti-oxidant, hydrates the skin, remove blemishes and increases the activity of collagen.
3rd Step: Mask
For this easy-to-make face-pack, you will need:
and some milk
In a bowl take
1 tablespoon of rice flour, 1 teaspoon of oats, 1 teaspoon of milk and 1 teaspoon of honey.
Mix these ingredients until they form a thick paste.
Apply the pack all over your face and leave for about 8-10 minutes.
Once it is done, rinse it off with cold water. Use this face-pack twice a week for better results.
Oats help in shedding dead cells from the skin.
4th Step: Toner
Our skin is naturally acidic and has a normal PH balance of 5 or 6.
After doing all the steps, our skin may work hard to restore the PH balance, resulting in overproduction of oil.
This can cause acne. With a toner, the balance is restored much quicker.
Rice contains a high concentration of PABA.
PABA raises the Vitamin C level in our bodies, and we know that Vitamin C brightens the skin by preventing and removing discoloration/hyperpigmentation.
Rose is not just a pretty flower. It has immense health and beauty benefits.
-1 cup of rice
-1/4 cup rose water
– spray bottle
Step 1: Pour the rice into the bowl and soak for 10 minutes.
The water should turn cloudy and milky.
Step 2: Drain the rice water into the spray bottle until it is 2/3 full.
Step 3: Fill the rest of the bottle with rose water. Shake it up.
5th step: Moisturizing
Using a moisturizer after all the step is very important as it will hydrate your skin, I’m using Glowpink skin whitening and brightening gel, because it has
Papaya Extract and
Saffron Oil, It clears the skin and brightens the complexion.
